Brother Kenneth Edenfield

Interim Pastor

Kenneth Edenfield gave his life to Christ as a young man attending Old Providence Baptist Church.  He graduated from Columbia High School in 1971 and married Diane in 1977. They have two grown daughters.
In 1979, he surrendered his life to the gospel ministry and for several years served as Interim and Supply Pastor for local churches.  During that time, he felt the call to full-time ministry and started attending seminary.  He has served as full-time pastor for churches in Georgia, Live Oak and Olustee.  He received his undergraduate degree from Luther Rice Seminary and went on to earn his Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Baptist Center for Biblical Studies in Jacksonville, FL.
Brother Ken has served as bi-vocational Interim Pastor at Berea since 2009.  Even though he works a full-time job as the head of facility maintenance at Florida Gateway College, Brother Ken felt God's call to care for Berea until a pastor could be found. Not only does he bless Berea with preaching, teaching and leadership skills but he also freely shares his own time, treasure and talents repairing, maintaining and renovating all of the buildings on campus. His education greatly enhances his gifting.
