How to Get to Heaven
 
Having a relationship with God is easy as knowing your A, B, C's.

A - Admit to God that you are a sinner, that you haven't lived up to His standards.
  • "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".
              (Romans 3:23)
  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord".
            (Romans 6:23)
 
B - Believe that God sent His only Son Jesus to pay your sin debt, by dying on the cross for you, that Jesus was buried and God raised Jesus from the dead so that you can live a wonderful life now, and when you die, you can live with God in heaven forever.
  • "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

     For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

             (John 3:16-17)
  • "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
            (I Corinthians 15:3b-4)
 

C - Commit your life to God through faith in the person of Jesus Christ, and what God did for you through his Son Jesus.  This can be done by confessing in a prayer your faith in Jesus and asking God to forgive you your sins.  And in praying,you ask the Spirit of Jesus to come into your life and remain there forever.

  • "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
            (Romans 10:9-10)
 
If you are not sure how to pray, here is a prayer yo can use as a guide to ask Jesus to save you today.

 

Dear God, I realize I haven't lived up to your standards, and have sinned.  I ask you God to forgive me of my sins, helping me to turn away from that type of lifestyle.  For I believe that you sent your son Jesus to die for me, to pay for my sin debt, and that you raised him from the dead, so that I may live forever with you someday.  I ask you, Jesus, to come into my heart right now to save me and remain in my life forever. 

In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
